Born in 1967, Derek grew up in an era when meditation was seen as something that hippies did. At that time, the western world hadn’t fully grasped the benefits of many eastern practices, such as meditation and yoga, and they were very much niche activities.

Derek always had a fascination with the mind, as well as phenomena like out-of-body experiences and lucid dreaming. From his early teens, he began reading books on these subjects and practicing meditation, which opened up a whole new world for him to explore—his own consciousness.

Entirely self-taught from literature, Derek has practiced meditation ever since and has a deep passion for encouraging others to take up the practice. [Name] offers a collection of products and resources that reflect his commitment to helping others find peace and balance in their lives.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Derek meditating, reading, cooking, or out in nature, enjoying what the universe has to offer.
